Does anyone still blog nowadays? Or journal down their thoughts? Everyone is probably instagramming/facebooking and showing off their awesome lives these days. Well i admit i do them too but to be honest i selectively choose the happier/wilder/fun-er photos to post, not to say that im fake or what, just dont like to post negative and emo stuff on social media i guess? I dunno. Tbh when you have deep and long thoughts they're usually negative? I still have my original blog but as I re-read my posts they just get more and more negative and I realise I need to stop wallowing in my own self pity lol.

Anyways, back to starting a journal again. The reason I started writing again is because it’s coming to the end of the year and the reflective and pensive side of me is kicking in haha. It’s been a year since I joined N*** and tbh there's more bad days than good. never imagined there could be a job where i dreaded waking up every morning, was scared to talk to my boss because she was (always) in a bad mood and often had to play politics with all the big man ego managers. like seriously? just let me do my work in peace, i aint got time for games. anyway, to give credit where it's due, this job is really a good learning ground. tbh i have to do a lot of things from scratch, coupled with the fact that im already handling wing-to-wing hr functions and so i have hands-on on practically everything. sigh. i do hope it'll all be worth it in the end.

Well, looking back at my year, a huge part has been about work. #workaholic haha. stopped going to mps because of some personal stuff but recently has been starting to go back slowly because serving the community is more impt than my petty disputes. other than that, tutored a p6 girl for free (godma's mentee) which burnt pretty much my sat mornings but watching her slowly improve from failing grades to getting 186 for PSLE (yay proud of you!) and hopefully getting into her dream school is satisfying (: i think results should be out soon! *fingers crossed* then still teaching my kiddies on sunday too (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT I HAVE TAUGHT THEM FOR 4 YEARS AND THEY'LL BE 12 YEARS OLD NEXT YEAR) psle year haha. we just announced new classes on sundays and one of the girls couldnt stop being sad and kept asking me to continue teaching her aww (': ahh wells. life goes on. i grow old, they grow up haha. not really looking forward for next year but here are some goals i wanna achieve:

• To be a better/stronger person (always ongoing since 2013)
• To work with KY on more community initiatives
• To help Prof out more
• To finish a new book (yes just 1! i have that little expectation of myself)
• and personally, to travel more hehe. travel has always been an eyeopener for me as well as a destress-er. and wanna go back to HCM and Sarawak. places where i have solo travelled and brought great insights
