Had brunch with Kim today @ Verdure Cafe, a little quaint cafe at Springleaf. She brought along Lin Qin, a cute 18-year-old girl from MPS whom i cant really rmb (paiseh) but LQ rmbs me hahaha. Kim said that LQ wanted to learn from me as a senior in MPS (really? I dont even consider myself to be that experienced haha) and basically just a catch up la which is very nice.
The first thing that struck me about the cafe wasnt how small it was, but rather how young the cashiers and the waiters/waitresses were. probably about 18, 19? i always think it's good for the youngsters to try a job in the f&b/retail/service sector. really teaches you a lot of EQ and patience and a lot of things about people haha.
anyway thanks for that catch up session though you really dont need to see me as a mentor haha. i still make a lot of mistakes in life :/ but im always glad to share about my life experiences (if you're not bored by them) and really glad to see young people stepping up!
